Czech guard Tomas Satoransky was voted MVP of the U18 European Championship Men Division B in Debrecen, Hungary.

He was also selected into the All-Tournament team together with compatriot Jan Vesely by the participating team coaches.
Slovenia Beat Czechs To U18 Division B Crown // 03 August 2008

A virtuoso performance on both ends of the floor from Marko Vranjkovic fired Slovenia to the Division B title of the U18 European Championship for Men in Debrecen, Hungary.

Vranjkovic had 17 points, including 12 in the decisive third quarter when the Slovenians took command, in a 68-60 triumph over the Czech Republic.

Slovenia and the Czech Republic on Saturday clinched promotion to Division A of the U18 European Championship Men.

The Slovenians won 81-53 over Slovakia in this year's Division B tournament in Debrecen, Hungary, while the Czechs turned on the style with a 71-47 mauling of Poland.

Slovenia won a dramatic Group E showdown against the Czech Republic at the U18 European Championship for Men Division B on Friday, to set up a semi-final against Slovakia.

Poland will play the Czechs in the other semi-final game.

The Czech Republic won the battle for first place in Group A against Austria in the Preliminary Round of the U18 European Championship Men Division B in Debrecen, Hungary.

The Czechs edged the previously unbeaten Austrians 77-73 on Tuesday to leave both sides with 3-1 records.
Dutch Upset Montenegro // 29 July 2008

The Netherlands sprung a big upset at the U18 European Championship for Men Division B in Hungary on Monday.

The Netherlands tasted victory for the first time in the European Championship Men, Division B, by winning 88-65 over Montenegro - the same team that had been so impressive 24 hours earlier against the Czech Republic.
Bogdanovic, Sutulovic Power Montenegro past Czechs // 28 July 2008

Montenegro won an 81-79 thriller over the Czech Republic on day three of the U18 European Championship Men Division B in Debrecen, Hungary.

The Montenegrins (2-1) looked to be headed for another setback after falling to Austria on Saturday but they outscored the Czechs 25-17 over the final 10 minutes.

Austria, Switzerland and Poland have enjoyed excellent starts at the U18 European Championship Men Division B in Hungary with each winning for the second consecutive time on Saturday.

The most convincing triumphs on day two were delivered by the Czech Republic and the Poles.
